Maidenhead, situated on the banks of the River Thames is an ideal location to explore the Royal Borough withthe famous Windsor Castle, home of The Queen during the summer month of June, only 6 miles away at Windsor. Other local attractions include Thorpe Park, Legoland, Eton College and Runnymede where the Magna Carta was signed. Along the river Henley (Regatta), Marlow with it's Chain Link Suspension Bridge ( Proto-type for the one crossing the Danube at Budapest). Cookham with it's famous Stanley Spencer Gallery, Maidenhead with it's Riverside Gardens and boats, take a trip to Windsor & Eton and relax for 2 hours on the beautiful "Old Father Thames."

In 1986 Daphne and Mike Taylor established Braywick Grange to provide an alternative type of accommodation to the impersonality of the Hotel chains. The mandate was to have a friendly Guest House where visitors would feel welcome without being over indulged. Hence, Bray wick Grange evolved into a Home from Home for people on business or on vacation. You can have your own space and privacy or feel free to interact with the family as you prefer.
The location was chosen to provide guests with convenient access to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and transport links throughout the south of England. The M4 Motorway to London and Wales is about a mile away as is the Railway Station to London Paddington, Bath, Bristol and South Wales. Heathrow is easily reached by train, changing at Hayes & Harlington for the Terminals or by Bus.
Local attractions include Windsor Castle, Legoland, Cookham, Marlow and Henley on Thames the venue for Henley Regatta, while Dorney Rowing Lake, the venue for the Olympic Rowing Races in 2012, is only about 4 miles away. Clivden House which was once the home of Lord and Lady Astor and the location of the "infamous" Profumo Scandal with Christine Keeler and Mandy Rice-Davies is now owned by the National Trust and open to members.
The property, which was built in the 1930's, has a bright and spacious Family en-suite bedroom overlooking the Golf Driving Range, Single cottage style bedroom overlooking the large rear garden and a Twin bedded en-suite room on the ground floor providing easy access. Each room has Tea/Coffee facilities and TV and a suitable table for Laptop Computers to use the free wireless broadband, Wi-Fi connection.
There is a Guest Lounge to relax in or meet up with friends and family or other members of your group.
In the front of the house is adequate parking off road and the garden to the rear benefits from a Solar Heated outdoor swimming pool which guests are invited to use in the summer.
The town centre is only 15mins walk away as is the railway station, and has numerous restaurants, a cinema, leisure centre and indoor shopping precinct. Access to the river is about 2 miles away via the town. If you prefer it is possible to walk into Bray Village in 10 minutes with it's historic church, many will remember the song "The Vicar of Bray, Sir" ; and the two world famous Michelin Starred restaurants, Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck and Michel and Alain Roux's Waterside Inn, before continuing on to the river.
Windsor Castle, in our eye's probably the finest castle in the world is 6 miles away and Ascot about 8 miles as is Wentworth Golf course.
